Here’s what you can expect during your appointment.

Quick Links

Consultation

  • Purpose: We begin by understanding your skin type, concerns, and goals for the face spa treatment.
  • Discussion: We’ll talk about any allergies, sensitivities, or skincare products you currently use.
  • Assessment: Our estheticians will examine your skin to recommend the best face spa treatment tailored to your needs.

Preparation

  • Cleansing: Your face will be thoroughly cleansed with a gentle cleanser to remove makeup, dirt, and impurities.
  • Exfoliation: A mild exfoliant may be used to remove dead skin cells and prepare your skin for better absorption of products.

The Waxing Treatment

a. Application of Wax

  • Choosing the Wax: Based on your skin type and the area being treated, we’ll select the appropriate wax (soft wax, hard wax, or sugar wax).
  • Heating the Wax: The wax will be warmed to a suitable temperature to ensure it spreads easily and adheres well to the hair.
  • Applying the Wax: The wax will be applied in the direction of hair growth using a spatula or applicator.

b. Removal of Wax

  • Technique: The wax will be quickly and firmly removed against the direction of hair growth, pulling the hair out from the root.
  • Skin Support: Our estheticians will gently support the skin during removal to minimize discomfort.

c. Repetition

  • Reapplication: This process will be repeated until all the desired hair is removed.
  • Touch-Ups: Any stray hairs will be removed with tweezers to ensure a smooth finish.

Post-Waxing Care

  • Soothing the Skin: A soothing lotion or gel will be applied to calm the skin and reduce redness or irritation.
  • Moisturizing: A hydrating moisturizer will be applied to keep the skin soft and supple.
